Novak released their debut, much sought after, single "Silver Seas" on the Earworm label before catching the attention with a new demo tape to and words of affinity with Quickspace to the Kitty Kitty Corp who were just gutted not to have been faster out of the blocks to work with them.

After  joining the Kitty Kitty Corp. they issued a series of highly prized limited edition gems including the 'Rapunzel' 7" (April ‘97), the 'Alpine Assignment' ep (Oct ‘97), and  'Boy Scouts of America' 7" in '98. The 'Blue Chinook' 7" was the bands next release in March '99 preceding their eponymous debut in April '99 shortly after which the band split.
