Why Volunteer?

If you answer 'Yes' to any of these questions, the current committee would love to

hear from you.

The Benefits

Research shows clear benefits for children when parents become actively invovled in their child's learning and development from an early age.

Being a committee member is an ideal opportunity to become practically involved in this aspect of your child's life. It will also make a real difference to how the setting is managed.

You will personally benefit by updating exsisting skills and learning new ones as well as putting something back into the community.

Many of the skills used in managing the pre-school can be transferred to paid employment.

Volunteering at the pre-school is all about opportunities - for the pre-school, but also for yourself - and potentially a new direction in your life...

The current committee were elected at the Annual General Meeting on November 17th 2011.
